VoIP & Business Phone
Managed VoIP is bdManagedIT's cloud phone system for North Georgia businesses, replacing legacy desk phones with a reliable, mobile-ready VoIP platform that works across every office, at home, and on the road with a single managed service behind it.
Legacy phone systems break at the worst times, lock you into hardware refresh cycles, and offer nothing for a team that is partly remote or spread across multiple sites. Managed VoIP replaces all of that with a cloud-based business phone system that runs on desktop apps, mobile phones, and desk handsets, fully managed by bdManagedIT. We handle porting your numbers, configuring call routing and auto-attendants, setting up voicemail-to-email, and providing ongoing support so your phones are never a productivity problem.
What's included
Cloud calling on any device
Managed VoIP works on Windows and Mac desktop apps, iOS and Android mobile apps, and physical VoIP handsets. Staff make and receive calls on their business number from anywhere, whether in the office, at home, or on a job site.
Multi-location support
Whether your business has one location or six, Managed VoIP handles internal extensions, shared call queues, and site-to-site transfers from a single admin portal. Adding a location does not require new phone hardware or a separate carrier contract.
Managed setup and number porting
We port your existing phone numbers, configure auto-attendants and call routing, set up voicemail-to-email, and train your staff. You do not touch the carrier or deal with the technical configuration. We handle it end to end.
Ongoing monitoring and support
Managed VoIP is a managed service, not a self-serve platform. When a call quality issue surfaces, a routing rule needs updating, or a staff member needs a new extension, you open a ticket and we resolve it.
What you get
No desk phone hardware dependency
Cloud VoIP eliminates the PBX hardware and desk phone refresh cycles of traditional phone systems. Your system lives in the cloud, scales with headcount, and does not require a technician visit to add a new user.
One business number across every device
Staff answer calls, transfer them, and check voicemail using their business number whether at their desk or three states away. Customers always reach the right person and always see a professional business caller ID.
Predictable flat monthly cost
Managed VoIP is billed per seat at a flat monthly rate with no per-minute surprise charges for domestic calls. You know what your phone system costs every month, and the cost scales linearly as you hire.
A single vendor for IT and phones
When your phones and your IT are both managed by bdManagedIT, troubleshooting is faster and accountability is clear. There is no carrier-blaming-the-router conversation. One call resolves the problem.
VoIP & Business Phone, frequently asked questions
- Can we keep our existing phone numbers when we switch to Managed VoIP?
- Yes. We port your existing business numbers to Managed VoIP as part of the setup process. Your customers, vendors, and partners reach you on the same numbers they already have. Porting typically takes five to ten business days and we manage the entire process so there is no gap in service.
- Does Managed VoIP work if our internet goes down?
- Cloud VoIP depends on internet connectivity at your location. We recommend a backup internet connection for business-critical locations, which we can provision as part of a broader managed network setup. Mobile apps on cellular data keep working even if your office internet is offline.
- How long does it take to set up Managed VoIP for a typical business?
- Most deployments for businesses under 50 seats complete within two to three weeks from signed agreement to go-live. That includes number porting, device configuration, auto-attendant setup, and staff training. Larger or more complex multi-site setups may take four to six weeks.
- Do staff need new desk phones or can they use computers and mobile phones?
- Staff can use the Managed VoIP desktop and mobile apps with no new hardware at all. If you prefer physical desk phones, we supply and configure compatible VoIP handsets as part of the deployment. Many businesses use a mix of both, desk phones in shared spaces and apps for remote staff.
- How much does business VoIP cost per user?
- Business VoIP is a flat monthly fee per user that usually costs less than a traditional phone line once you include maintenance and long distance. We quote it based on your seat count and the features you need after a short call.
